We started having this discussion on the next door and i would like to bring that over here to our website as Sharee suggested. I want to know what is the procedure to get this changed in our Bi-laws to have a Fence if we want. I live on the Gibson and our Backyard is so close to the Matteson Avenue we can't enjoy our yard as we want to with privacy. Also i have concern for safety of my kids. We can't let our kid play freely as it is not safe with such busy street. People drive really fast in that road. It feels like we are living in an apartment without being able to enjoy our yard. May be if have enjoy people who wants to fight to get the Fence approved we can take this conversation seriously and be productive about it.

Good Day Neighbors, please don't quote me on this, however I believe the board addressed fencing about eight months ago, when a resident placed fencing on their property. The outcome was the resident had to remove their fencing. Have you tried trees or a retaining wall as a suggestion?
I agree, and I’ve spoken to other neighbors about this who also agree. We need this officially proposed at the next HOA meeting to at least begin the voting process.
I would definitely like to have a privacy fence. My yard faces the open field and my grass is garbage so I’m looking into buying sod. after two years. How do we get this up for a vote?
